Assessment Rules & Guidelines
In each Academic year school will hold: Periodic Test (2), Half Yearly Examination (September), and Annual Examination (March) for classes I to X.
Assessment is an evaluation tool to record the progress of a student. It is compulsory for all students of Class I to X to appear in Formative & Summative Assessments.
The dates of Formative and Summative Assessments are almost final and every student is supposed to appear in them.
A student not appearing in Assessments will be marked absent.
If on medical grounds students are unable to appear, the application must be supported with a medical certificate issued by a doctor of Govt./Municipal/Cantonment Hospital only and countersigned by parents. Such application must be submitted within a week of the assessment.
If a student is absent in SA on medical basis, he/she has to appear in the examination afterwards as and when arranged by the Principal.
